PROJECTS

Collaborating for a greater impact, through our projects. Our vision is to help foster real social change in our community. Through our vision, it is our intention to raise awareness for causes close to our heart, including: mental illness, domestic abuse and racism.

TLHP X BLACK COUNTRY WOMENS AID

We're working with the 'Black Country Women’s Aid', as part of their 'Heart to Heart' campaign, and using our voice to stand up against domestic violence.

'Black Country Women’s Aid' is an independent charity which has supported survivors of abuse and exploitation in the West Midlands for 30 years.

Through their sensitive and holistic approach to support, they help over 8000 victims of abuse each year to escape from violence, cope with trauma and rebuild their lives.

Domestic abuse isn’t just between partners, it can be perpetrated by anyone in the household, including family members or carers.

Since the start of the Covid19 pandemic, there has been a surge in the number of reported cases of domestic violence.

The implementation of lockdowns and other restrictions, may have heightened domestic tensions and cut off escape route for those in the most vulnerable of situations. As restrictions are lifted, victims will be looking for help and support.

By purchasing a t-shirt here, you'll be helping to spread awareness and take a stand against domestic violence, with £4 from the sale of every t-shirt going directly to the Black Country Women's Aid.

Men can also experience domestic abuse, and they may find it harder to talk about. Find out more here.
